Sunshine is poised to become the transport hub for Melbourne’s west. Over three quarters of a billion dollars is being spent upgrading Sunshine Railway Station, the adjoining bus interchange and surrounding pedestrian, bicycle and road networks, as part of the Regional Rail Link Project.
Getting to Sunshine is easy via all forms of transport. Sunshine is less than a twenty minute journey via train on the Sunbury line, with a bus interchange serving 12 bus routes connecting all points of Melbourne’s west.
Sunshine is presently a regional railway transport hub for regional trains to Bendigo, Ballarat and eventually Geelong by 2016.
