SUNSHINE HALLOWEEN KIDS STREET PARTY

FRIDAY 31^ST OCTOBER 2025, 4PM TO 7PM ALONG HAMPSHIRE RD.

The Sunshine Halloween Kids Street Party is on again, Friday 31st October from 4pm to 7pm. Hampshire Rd from the Marketplace Shopping Centre to The Precinct Arcade will come alive with roaming ghouls, scary characters, trick or treating, Treasure Hunts and decorated Halloween Dens for kids to have their face-painted and grab lots of lollies and treats.

A small stage in Bennett Place with sound, lights, MC – Cassidy Le Creme, killer kids’ music, activities and Best Halloween Kids Costume competition with fab prizes and give aways at 6.30pm near the Sunshine Library at corner Hampshire Rd and Bennett Place.

We invite all the kids of Sunshine with mums and dads to get dressed up in their scariest outfits and join in the fun of the Sunshine Halloween Street Party and stay for dinner in one of our wonderful restaurants.

Street Halloween Lolly Dens will be located at:

303 Hampshire Rd – front of Sunshine Marketplace;
254 Hampshire Rd – the Precinct Arcade;
275 Hampshire Rd – the Civic Green;

Face Painting Dens – will be in the Civic Green public area on the grass, and at the front of Sunshine Marketplace.

Scary Photo Booth – a spooked up space on the Helipad at the front of Sunshine Marketplace for kids to take selfies.

Halloween Treat Hunt – for kids to search the shop windows for CODE word clues for a chance to win some great prizes plus visit all 3 Lolly Dens.

Please note: Children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, check in at the registration TREAT HUNT marquee at 275 Hampshire Rd in the Civic Green public area near library. They will be given an event MAP and clue sheet then head off to find CODE words at 10 retail store shop windows. At the completion of the hunt, children return to the registration marquee to register to win a prize.

Shops will be Trick or Treating – look out for their ‘Participating Business’ poster.

Restaurants will be offering scary inspired Halloween dishes on the night, so make sure you book a table so you don’t miss out.

PLEASE NOTE: Bennett Place will be closed to traffic form 1pm to 8pm on Friday 31st October.
